WIN Win Television NSW

Television Wollongong Transmission Ltd. (WIN) won the licence for Ch. 4 Wollongong and started broadcasting on 18 March 1962. It was owned by Rupert Murdoch, who sold it 10 years later.
Bruce Gordon bought the station in 1979.
Coverage expanded to Moruya/Batemans Bay as WIN11 and Narooma district as WIN3. The late 1970's saw Bega begin as WIN6 and Eden as WIN3, with Goulburn beginning later on.
On 31 March 1989 the station expanded into southern New South Wales and the ACT for aggregation. Coverage began at Canberra WIN31, Orange WIN39, Bathurst WIN52, Dubbo WIN63 and Wagga Wagga WIN62. Orange, Wagga and Canberra had television facilitys built in their town.
WIN was privatised in 1992. WIN bought MTN9 and MTN31 Griffith in May 1998.
